Developing awesome stuff since 2001!

About

The Beginning

I've been creating custom high-octane website applications since 2001. Since most of my connections were in motorsports, I built the business creating flashy websites for race car drivers. I got started by creating a few sites for some Indiana based sprint car drivers, then began getting contacted by NASCAR drivers as popularity of my designs grew. Some high profile drivers included Boston Reid (Hendrick Motorsports), Josh Wise (JR Motorsports), Bryan Clauson (Chip Ganassi Racing), Jason Leffler (Braun Racing), and David Stremme (Chip Ganassi Racing).

Current

In recent years, more of my development work has been for businesses. For racers, I developed a web application at https://racertemplate.com that gives a driver pretty much everything they need in a website for a low monthly cost. The application auto-installs with a free month trial.

Besides running ElliottBrand, Racer Template, and DirtTrackTrader.com, I also currently work full time for Enhanced Telecommunications Corp. (ETC) as a web applications developer.

C# Development

The very early years revolved around Flash site designs. As technology changed and sites were demanding more interaction with dynamic data, I made the switch to Asp.Net/C# Web Development. I've built many applications in Web Forms, but I'm currently developing MVC web applications in Asp.Net Core 3.1.

WordPress Development

While I prefer to develop custom applications in Asp.Net/C#, there are occasions where it makes more sense for a client to go the WordPress route, especially when cost is the largest concern. I've been building WordPress sites for nearly 3 years now.

History - ElliottBrand Clash

I worked with Bloomington Speedway for several years to promote the annual ElliottBrand Clash. The race was a non-sanctioned event that attracted the top sprint car drivers and teams in the country, including Tony Stewart Racing, Kasey Kahne Racing, Keith Kunz Motorsports, and others. Drivers flew in from as far as California just for this event. The race had a large payout and multiple bonus prizes, thanks to a wide array of manufacturer sponsors who chipped in to give away products and to Motorsports Management International for helping to bump up the purse by sponsoring the event. Lap sponsorships were also collected to award the top 3 leaders of each lap in the feature.
